As CommentSold's principle designer, I took on a lot of projects that started more as an idea vs a defined request. AI Clip Hero was one of those projects. When speaking with our customers, we discoved that most of the larger shops already had a presence on TikTok and Instagram but were manually creating the clips and then using the posts to drive traffic to their lives or webstores.
None of the clips were pulled from their live either. With each live running around an hour and shops averaging 3-4 a week, it simply took too much time to edit them into bite sized clips that they could then post. Our executive leadership saw the rise in social selling and how our partnership with TikTok and Instagram could be used to drive more sale using clips tagged with products vs longer lives, so the decission was made to build a tool to automate the process.
This is where AI Clip Hero comes in. Shops can select a live and send it off to our service to be processed. Our AI engine automatically cuts the clips based on the products and content in the videos, returns the clips and sharable links to the new videos, and provides a rating/review metric that scopes the clips for the shops and feeds results back into the AI engine.
